    3. The 1900 census was taken in June of 1900, just a few weeks before the Storm. Also, since the 1900 census gives most street addresses in the left column and margin, you can look on a Storm map (there's one on the Rosenberg Website at http://rosenberg-library.org/gthc/map.html and see how your folks' block fared in the Storm.
