How would I go about getting a list of Catholic CHurches in Galveston during the Great Hurricane of 1900. My Rankin family left their home and business to take refuge in a Catholic church and all survived. I would like to try to track down which one it was. And then which ones were on higher ground etc. Thanks Gale From: BerthaElen@aol.com Reply-To: TXGALVES-L@rootsweb.com To: TXGALVES-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [TXGALVES] Surname: Bagby Date: Wed, 29 Sep 1999 21:13:43 EDT In a message dated 9/29/99 3:52:58 PM Central Daylight Time, jnturner@gte.net writes: << Bagby >> The only BAGBY that I found was Cecile King Bagby on pg 91 of the "St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Galveston, Tx Baptismal, Confirmation,Marriage & Death Records" 1860-1952 279 Bagby Cecile King 23 Aug 1932;age 56 S.
