Can someone enlighten me as to what "black jaundice" was? It was the cause of death in many obits. Thanks! Mike
Can anyone tell me if there is another name for "Butler Cemetery"? Where is Butler Cemetery? Thanks for the help! Tracie Soderstrom
There are a number of cemeteries around Butler, but none by that name that I'm aware of. Or is this a Butler family cemetery? Can anyone else help??? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Teach A Kid" <teachakid@charter.net> To: <TXFREEST-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, September 21, 2003 2:00 PM Subject: [TXFREEST] Butler Cemetery > Can anyone tell me if there is another name for "Butler Cemetery"? There are a few references in the Freestone History Book about "Butler Cemetery". I can't remember which book at the moment, but probably book 1. I even saw a section in the History Book that was a listing of Civil War Vets buried in Freestone. In this section (if I remember what I read correctly) it listed cemeteries and the name of the Veterans buried in each cemetery. Some veterans were listed as being buried in "Butler Cemetery". I am wondering if there is a Freestone Cemetery that I have missed when my family has been there.
