Hi Listers, Do any of you have any knowledge of this MELTON? One of my ggreat aunts, Caroline Owen(s) b. TN abt 1827 in TN married David Melton b. ca 1824 in MS, married 12/1845 Robertson County TX. They had several children, all born in Robertson County, one son was named John . I am wondering if this John Melton could be their son John. I had several Owens living in Limestone &Freestone, TX.
