It has been 20 years since I visited Salem Cemetary and copied all the Carroll, Echols, and Driver monuments for my own use. I put up a marker for my g-g-grandmother Agnes Clement Echols, and meant to have the monument for Champness Echols repaired or replaced. But then I got married, then college for the step-children, now 4 spoiled rotten grandchildren, and Cemetary work has taken a back seat. Thank goodness for the internet so I can still dabble some in genealogy without travelling. Thanks to all of you for your help!
