Fairfield Recorder, Fairfield Texas Friday, August 21, 1925 AGED CITIZEN OF TEAGUE PASSES AWAY Mr. W. C. DAVIS, 76 quietly and peacefully passed away after a gradual decline of several months last Saturday in Teague. His remains interred in the Driver Cemetery Sunday in the presents of a large circle of sorrowing friends and relatives after religious services by Rev. F. O. FAVRE and Rev. E. Homer TIREY. Mr. DAVIS had been a resident of Freestone County thirty years coming to Fairfield from Tennessee. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. W. L. LOTT of Fairfield, Mrs. A. B. GEPPERT, Mrs. Tex HULLUM, J. C. DAVIS of Teague, Mrs. WEBB of Dallas and Shep DAVIS of Fort Worth.
