Try the following website: http://www.window.state.tx.us/up Once there, click on 'Searching Online'. Enter a surname under last name and see how many "hits" come up for your surname. The 'neat' part is the site lists Name and last known Address for people. I thought it might be a sneaky way to get some info on probably living Texas folks for your genealogical research.
