The Teague Chronicle Nov. 7, 1917 MRS.MINNIE MEEK has gone to be with Jesus. She was born April 25, 1878 and died Oct. 12, 1917. She joined the Baptist Church at the age of 17. At the age of 18 she was married to H.M. Meek Sept. 10 1899. To this union were born 4 children one of which has preceded her long ago to the glory land. Three children and husband are left to lament her departure. She was faithful to her family, her neighbors, her church and her lord. Well miss her in the home and the community. We deeply sympathize with her bereaved family. We know there is a vacant chair and she will be with us no more on earth for it points us to heaven where she is safe with Jesus and if we will only trust in the lord we will meet her again where there will be no more sickness and pain and what a happy meeting that will be. Dear ones look up she is waiting for you. Therefore be it resolved that we extend our heartfelt sympathy and love to the bereaved family and relatives and may Gods richest blessings rest on them.
