The Teague Chronicle Oct. 19, 1918 MRS.H.M. MEEK Mrs. H.M. Meek aged about 39 years died in the Baptist Sanitarium in Dallas on Thurs. night of last week after an operation. She became ill on Wed. of the previous week, was taken to the sanitarium the next Tues., an operation being performed Wed. one week from the day she became ill. Mr. Meek and her sister, S.L. Bryant were with her at the sanitarium. The remains reaching Teague Fri. afternoon were conveyed to Hopewell Cemetery where Rev. D. Arther Dickey conducted the funeral service at 4:00 pm after which interment was made. Deceased leaves three children all girls, her husband, her father, W.J. Yerby, one brother Walter Yerby, and several sisters among whom are Mrs. Henna Taggart of Mexia, Mrs. S.L. Bryant of Teague, Mrs. Earl Black of Teague,Mrs. Allen Herring of Austin, Mrs. Thomas Woodall of Dew and more sisters.
