James W. Sellers (b. 7-3-1821) died in Seminary, Covington County, Mississippi, on 11-06-1862. A short time later his son, John D, Sellers (b. June 23, 1848) migrated with his widowed mother, Mary Margaret Speed (b. 10-08-1825) and his wife, Elvirah Jane Hinton (01-03-1851) to Freestone County, TX. They traveled with his sister, Kizziah Elizabeth Sellers (b. 10-28-1851) and her husband, Peter Hubbard. I have information on these families that I am very happy to share upon request.
