Mother says that the men were all given nicknames, so jay and jack are real men but their nicknames. I am going to make copies of the deed and Rachael's marriage license today and scan them. Also I'll transcribe the deed since it is a legal size page and hand-written. Mother knows the “who and what” of the children of Wm and Mollie Welch, since they lived in the same areas in the 30's & 40's...And America Jane Bray is Talford Bray's mother. The father's name is still unknown but others who connected with mom via these message boards have done a lot of work on that side. If you are indeed related, she would love to talk to you about the family and share what she has--mostly a couple of pictures of Mollie and her grave marker. My grandmother (daughter of Rachel) married a Marsh and believed that her husband was not related to Mollie's Marsh side, but now it is uncertain.
