I'm trying to put this together ... I was able to hook up with Kirsten Ellis over on Ancestry.com, and she definitely has my Bounds'. I had my Bounds up to Rev. James Hill Bounds (wife Margeret E. Wolfe)and his father Thomas Bounds (wife Anges Cole). She apparently has filled the holes I had up to the time they came over from Wales in 1736 (Her tree): Descendants of James Bounds Generation No. 1 1. JAMES1 BOUNDS was born 1718 in Wales. He married ELIZABETH UNKNOWN. Notes for JAMES BOUNDS: Revolutionary War Vet. Came to USA in 1736, Anson Co., NC Child of JAMES BOUNDS and ELIZABETH UNKNOWN is: 2. i. JESSE2 BOUNDS. Generation No. 2 2. JESSE2 BOUNDS (JAMES1). He married ANN WEBB. Child of JESSE BOUNDS and ANN WEBB is: 3. i. THOMAS3 BOUNDS, b. 1790. Generation No. 3 3. THOMAS3 BOUNDS (JESSE2, JAMES1) was born 1790. He married AGNES COLE. Child of THOMAS BOUNDS and AGNES COLE is: 4. i. REV. JAMES HILL4 BOUNDS, b. 1823, NC. Generation No. 4 4. REV. JAMES HILL4 BOUNDS (THOMAS3, JESSE2, JAMES1) was born 1823 in NC. He married MARGARET E. WOOLF, daughter of JOHN WOOLF (WOLFE) and MARY STEPHENS. Child of REV. BOUNDS and MARGARET WOOLF is: i. JAMES VASTINE5 BOUNDS, b. January 19, 1849, MS; d. April 12, 1928, Wortham, TX; m. BARBARA CORNELIA SHOUN. Hope this helps. What her's is not showing is That Rev. James Hill Bounds had a second child, Jesse Eugene Bounds b. Feb. 20, 1846 in MS, d. May 2, 1918 in Comanche, OK, married Mary Louise Tyler. Child of Jesse Eugene and Mary Tyler (one of them) is Jesse Eugene Bounds b. Jan 19, 1876 in Wortham, TX, d. July 21, 1941 in Comanche Ok, married Ella Elizabeth McDaniel.
