Whitten, Eli H. Whitten , Martha H. Whitten and Mary Whitten. The Whitten came to Freestone County Texas from Kemper Co. Miss. John, Eli, and Martha are listed in the 1870 Census for Freestone county. In 1880 only John C. Whitten is listed. Eli H. Whitten is listed in Navarro Co. I believe that Martha H. Whitten married John M. Day in 1874. She is list after that as Mattie H. Day. Thank you
