By the time they got to Texas there seemed to be many Wafers with the same name. Is this the James Wafer that is on the 1880 Census in Freestone Co. and did most of his family stay in the area There is another James Wafer in McLennon Co. on the 1880 Census. At this time I am trying to keep up with all of them until I find the parents and brothers and sisters of James Wafer that married Sarah Tipton, in 1876.
