In the 1900 census, Jim A. Pye was in Freestone Co. with his family. He had a son, Freeman, 4 yrs. of age, born Dec. 1895. In the 1910 census, Jim A. Pye lived in McLennan Co., had a different wife, (his first wife, Lucy, died in 1904) and no son Freeman. Freeman is not listed on the Texas Death Index which started in 1903 so I am assuming he died between June 9, 1900 and Jan. 1, 1903. I cannot find any records in McLennan Co. so I would like to check Freestone Co. I checked the Freestone Co. cemetery listings and found some Pyes but not Freeman. Jim A. Pye was my grandfather and I can account for all of his children except this one. I just hate to live this loose end. I would appreciate any assistance anyone could give me. cindy moore
Have you located Lucy Pye's grave? Freeman may be buried in same cemetery in unmarked grave.
