This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AiB.2ACE/1095 Message Board Post: I have learned that an older member of my family is buried in Antioch Cemetery located about eight miles east of Fairfield, north of Hwy 84 on FR 1364. The family member is Mrs. Ada Robertson, probably buried about 1949. I learned of Ada's burial by reading a record of tombstone inscriptions prepared by Cathy Canterbury & Catherine Simmons. I visited the cemetery last weekend and found that Mrs. Robertson's grave marker has now disappeared, so that I was unable to locate her grave. Does the Freestone Gen Society have a "map" of the cemetery that could help locate a specific grave location? If not, can you advise how I might try to locate Mrs. Robertson's grave? (I have been told that the folks who do the custodial work at Antioch do not have a map.)
FCGS does not have the map of which you speak. However, I will get in touch with someone who has a great deal of knowledge about that cemetery and get back with you. Another idea. That cemetery is having its memorial service this coming Saturday. You might learn something about this grave if you would attend.
