    3. John E. Carr, III, will be guest speaker at the February 12th meeting of the Freestone County Genealogical Society meeting. The meeting starts at 7PM at Fairfield City Hall. You will enjoy a presentation by this former history teacher and Life-time member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Mr. Carr will be recounting the occasion of the exhumation of Civil War General Joseph Johnson, his wife and son, which occurred just north of Fairfield on February 4, 2001.
