My dad recently told me about his aunt Sally who lived around McLennan, Comanche and Hamilton counties. She was born 1876 and died 1950. She suffered from asthma. She had some type of medicine that she would put in a bowl, strike a match to it, take it outside and breathe in the smoke that came from it. It didn't catch on fire but would smoke. Do you know what this was or have you heard of it? It really helped her asthma. I sent this to several lists. I apologize if you are getting this on multiple lists. Sandra

My name is Laverne Winn. I am researching my husbands side of the family with surnames of Daniels, Winn, Philpott. They owned land in and around Dew and Teague. They are African Americans. He is a descendent of Anna Daniels Winn and Samuel (Tom) Winn. The most recent person who lived in that are was Amanda Winn. I don't remember her last married name. Any information you have would be appreciated. Thanks. Laverne Winn Ltconsults @aol.com
