    1. Re: [TXFREEST] Look ups Please
    2. Shirley, I am late reading through all of my e-mail messages, but did notice the name LAMB. My mother's sister, Helen Campbell, married two different LAMB men. They were cousins. The first one was Virgil G. "Buster" LAMB, b. 1928 in Liberty Co., TX. He died in 1994 in the same area. His parents were: Issom LAMB m. to Jessie Louise Levines. They were long time residents of Liberty Co., TX. The second husband Is William Donald Lamb, son of Jefferson LAMB, b. Palacious County, TX and Mary Walsh, b. Addicks, TX. Donald and Helen married in 1996 and live in Bellville, TX. If you still need look ups on your LAMBs, I will be glad to do so. If you think that you may be connected to any of my LAMBs let me know and I will put you in touch with them. Sincerely, Joyce in Houston, TX Researching: EZELL, CAMPBELL, PARNELL, HODGES, JONES, WATERS, FROST, THOMAS On Wed, 13 Dec 2000 16:10:19 -0800 "Shirley A. 3. Posted on: Freestone County Queries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/genbbs.cgi/USA/Tx/Freestone/518 Surname: Terry ------------------------- Pearleen, I am sorry, but, I do not have any information on the names that you had mentioned. However, they could be related because my 4th Great Grandfather Thomas Terry was born in Virginia @1800. He died in Louisiana bet. 1850 and 1860. His children were born in Tennessee, South Carolina, and Alabama. On the information I had on them most of them died in Louisiana and Freestone County Texas and Limestone County Texas. I do have a picture of a lady that I believe is Joseph Terry's daughter. She is my gg grandmother. Her name was Jo Ellen Terry and she married Edward Taylor Eppes. If you will send me your email address I will send you her picture and maybe you or someone in your family can identify her. If it is not Jo Ellen Terry it may be her mother Lanora A.C. Varnell. Jo Ellen died at a pretty young age. I think she was 25. The lady in the picture apprears to be pretty young. My email address is [email protected] I hope I have helped you some. I look forward to hearing from you.

I have noticed that you are doing research on the Terrys. I was wondering if you happen to have a Henry Thomas Terry (born ca 1886), son of William John Terry and Jennifer Hill, in your family tree? Henry Thomas was in Ontario at the time of his marriage to Gertrude Evelyn Virgin in 1906. We are not too sure if he was born in Ontario, Canada. It is said that the TERRYs came from the United States, from around West Virginia. Please, if you have any information, could you please contact me. Thank you and I hope to hear from you very soon.
