Yes, someone went to Dew Cemetery in Limestone Co., Tx. and found the graves I was asking about. Sarah Ann Anderson, b. 1854 Ms. d. 1910 and buried there, she was widow of Hiram Rigsdell from MS. and she had married to my 2nd g-grandfather, James Mitchell Pierce in 1876 in Copiah Co., MS. The Rigsdell family had moved to Texas when her son, Francis Marion (Frank M.) Rigsdell came to Texas and met and married his wife Kizzie Hallmark. Their family is recorded in records for that area and many are still there today. Thanking the good couple for the assistance in locating the record of her grave and sending me photos. The Teague Chronicle Oct. 25, 1918 Death of Ed Williams Ed. Williams, age about 28 years, died at his home 3 and 1/2 miles south of the city Sat. afternoon about 3 oclock. Spanish influenza followed by pneumonia caused his death. He is the only son of O.E. Williams and leaves a wife and four children. Interment was made in the city cemetery Sun.

The Teague Chronicle Oct. 25, 1918 Lewis Piercy dies He came here to see his mother, Mrs. S.E.Piercy, died at her home Sun. at 12:10 oclock while her remains were being laid to rest in the city cemetery. Lewis being dead while many relatives returned home. He is said to have taken Spanish influenza after arriving here to be with his mother and brother and sisters who had it. And he was doing very well until about 36 hours before he died. His wife and children arrived from their home at Ged, Louisiana a few days before he died. Interment was in city cemetery Mon. Mr. Piercy was planning to move back to Teague from Louisiana where his family had been in ill health all year. He had pneumonia in Feb. and his wife and one of the children had typhoid fever. The little girl being ill for more than four months and had to be carried about when they arrived in Teague last week It was on account of the continued ill health of his family that he had decided to move back here where the family lived before moving to Louisiana. He is survived by his wife and five children besides some brothers and sisters.

Sat. morning, Oct. 19, our community was shocked by the death of Jim McIntyre, one of the most beloved young men. He was a consistent Christian and practiced his beliefs. He was a member of the Baptist church and was ready at all times to help support the calls of Christ. Jim was twenty years old and was expected to be drafted into the service of the government soon and was anxious to serve his country in person. He was an orphan boy and by his model life had won a place in every heart with whom he came in contact and by the death our community has lost one of the most youthful citizens.

By the time they got to Texas there seemed to be many Wafers with the same name. Is this the James Wafer that is on the 1880 Census in Freestone Co. and did most of his family stay in the area There is another James Wafer in McLennon Co. on the 1880 Census. At this time I am trying to keep up with all of them until I find the parents and brothers and sisters of James Wafer that married Sarah Tipton, in 1876.
