    3. Your Right and I knew that!! Sorry!! My mind has not been on Genealogy lately which is unusual huh!! I have just found my older Sister that was adopted out and I have been so excited!! I got into the adoption world for awhile looking for her and actually helped some people find their missing loved ones. It is just as exciting as Genealogy but you are looking for live people instead of dead ones...lol She is not on my Dad's side which has the Baty's tho. 1. [TXFREEST] Mrs. Elish Hobbs obit
    2. Ann Farnsworth
    3. The Fairfield Recorder October 9, 1885 Died- Mrs. Elisha Hobbs whose sudden paralysis and critical illness we mentioned last week died Thursday night about one week from the time she was paralyzed. The death of Mrs. Hobbs removes one of the oldest settlers of our county, as she and her husband came to Freestone in January 1848, over 37 years ago, and before the county was laid out or cut off from Limestone county. There were only about 12 or 15 grown men or voters in the present limits of Freestone when Mr. and Mrs. Hobbs moved into the county from near Springfield. We do not know the deceased's age but she was perhaps over 70. Had she lived until next February she and her husband would have seen the fiftieth anniversary of their marriage which occurred in Tennessee from which state they came to Texas. The remains of the deceased were interred in the Box Church cemetery in the southern part of the county where she lived many years before coming to our town. Peace to her ashes; a good wife, a loving and Christian ! mother has gone to final rest and reward.
