    3. Good morning, Remember when Claudine put it in her diary about Homer Barger and Dorine Bulin getting married? I saw Homer the other day and asked him if he remembered Claudine. He said he did. Dorine died and Homer is now married to Ruth Thornton Webb Barger. She also remembered Claudine. And Ruth mentioned Cleson! So, I know thiey were remembering your Claudine. Neat, huh? I waited to answer this to see if others sent Baty pictures. I think if anyone was going to send them, I would have heard by now. Trying to save you some trouble. ;-) I will appreciate it if you will check to see if you have these pictures. I have some publications relating to the Nettle family members, such as their going to Brazil after the civil war, and Captain Dave Nettles involvement in the capture and hiding of cannons associated with the civil war. The documents I have are a 1931 Houston Chronical article, and a history of Freestone thesis prepared for the Fairfield Recorder around the same time period I think. Also have a copy of the Freestone County History first edition published in 1978, which discusses Dave Nettles assistance in quelling a mob. I can mail you copies if you furnish your mail address. I live in San Antonio, Texas, telephone number 210-695-9198. My deceased father Batchelor Nettle told many family stories I would like to research more. I recall him saying our Burleson family connection had something to do with the creation Baylor University. I'ed greatly appreciate any information you might have of the Freestone County Nettle(s) and Burleson family relationship and activities.
