This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/mkB.2ACI/324.1 Message Board Post: We've got a list of WWII Casualties on the Fayette TXGenWeb site at http://www.rootsweb.com/~txfayett/deceased_veterans.htm that includes most of these names and a lot more. Where possible we've linked to photos, names of parents, where they died, and photos of grave markers. We haven't added all the names on the national archives list, because we haven't found supporting evidence (like obituaries or burial information) that they were from Fayette County. For example, one was inducted in Illinois. If anyone can add information about any of the following people from the national archives list I'd love to hear from you: Adam Bogdanski, Alfred Fischer, Willie Fitzgerald, Doris Lewis, Albert Malcik, Roy Nagel, Ernest Quitta, Andrew Schramm, Louis Schulz, John Segura, James Worthy. Also from the courthouse list: Gilbert Austin, Adolph Barta, Henry George Giesber, Eugene Holub, Henry Kozelsky, Edward Rainosek, Sr., and Edwin Paul Vecera. Most of these sound like Fayette County names, but we have not yet found information about their deaths, burial place, or other connection to the county. Thanks for your help with this project!
