    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/mkB.2ACI/365.2 Message Board Post: The court records are on microfilm which can be borrowed from a Mormon Family History Center and viewed there by you. The one here is only open from 10 am till 2pm 4 days a week and one evening, so call to see what hours they keep. The people who work there are very helpful. I have seen most of the records concerning these families, as they are my ancestors, but I have not seen that document. I knew about it from this site. After T. J. Walker died on Apr 30, 1881, Julia sold all of the assets of the estate and moved away. I suppose that the slaves were free by then. There are 2 unmarked graves in the Mullens Prairie Cemetery (where Asa Simmons Mercer, Martin Riser and T. J. Walker are all buried) which are thought to be slaves.
