There were a few pictures and letters from Elsie Wilson that was sent to my grandmother, Ada Reeder Vaughan. I have pictures of the Benthall headstones that are in Schulenburg. That is also where William and Rosetta build their house and it has a Historical marker in front of it. Below is the obit that I have on Rosetta and it came from Carolyn Parnell Stanley who is the g-g-granddaughter of Virginia Elizabeth Anderson Dunsmore. Several relatives that were kids of William and Rosetta's had a nice visit at Carolyn's parent's house and exchanged information. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ANDERSON --- Mrs. Rosetta Anderson died at her home near Naruna, Burnet county, Texas Nov 27th 1893. Sister Anderson nee Benthall, was born June 15, 1818, married W. B. Anderson Nov 5th, 1835. She with her husband settled in Farmigton (sic) Miss. where he engaged in the mercantile business after residing there four years they moved to Galveston, Texas where they lived one year. From there they moved to Smithfield and in 1841 they moved to Colorado county. In 1847 they moved to Shulenburg (sic) Fayette county; Shulenburg was then known as Lions. From Shulenburg they moved ot Flatonia in 1867, where they resided until the fall of 1892 then they moved to Naruna Burnet county, Texas. Sister Anderson was the mother of eleven children all of whom lived to be grown, eight sons and three daughters. She also raised an adopted son, a nephew, Rolins Stewart. Sister Anderson was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church in 1849, at the time of her death she had a letter of dismis! sion from the Salem Church in Gonzales county. Her aged husband who is an invalid still ingars upon this side of the tomb. It must be sad indeed to lose a bosom companion with whom one has been associated for a period of fifty-eight years. May God comfort this aged father and husband in these saddest hours of his life. Surrounded by weeping children, grandchildren, and a host of sympathizing friends, she was laid to rest in the Naruna cemetery Nov 29th, there to quietly rest awaiting the resurrection morn. The funeral was conducted by the writer. J. F. If you are interested Ed has also posted family pictures of his Andersons. There is also the McCauley picture. I would have to look again, but I think between the few pictures I have and that Ed, Phil, Ruby and Carolyn have we might have pictures of all their kids. http://www.webshots.com/search?new=1&source=mdocsheader&words=edwin+anderson I have not found out any more information on the Benthal line, but hope to start looking before long. Hope this helps, Cheryl
