This year's Spring Cleanup at Pin Oak Cemetery will be on Saturday, April 16, 2005. Last October's cleanup was one of the best ever gatherings when the Cemetery Historical Marker and Marker for the Unknown was dedicated by Judge Ed JANECKA. I personally met a lot of new "cousins," some with whom I had already corresponded via email, and others who were totally new revelations to me. We had a great time showing people around the cemetery and showing our new cousins where their own ancestors were buried. Please try to come and join in the fun and camaraderie, if possible. And please bring one of your favorite covered dishes to share for a Potluck Lunch which follows the cleanup and precedes the business meeting.
