That's nifty, Rox Ann. Thanks for telling us about it. And I'd think with so many "cemetery hunters" now being equipped with inexpensive GPS locators, that they should be able to provide a good, constant source of physical inventories, as it were. Speaking of which, I wonder if address (if applicable), latitude and longitude are things that might be included in the pop-up identification bubble. There's an interesting new feature at the Fayette County TXGenWeb site at http://www.rootsweb.com/~txfayett/countymap.html
I'll keep the latitude and longitude idea in mind for the bubbles as the maps are developed. Meanwhile, anyone interested can take a look at the cemeteries listed at the Fayette TXGenWeb site to see which ones are missing the GPS information, starting at http:// www.rootsweb.com/~txfayett/cemeteries_a-b.html If you can supply the coordinates for any of the cemeteries missing them, I'll update the site. I don't have a GPS locater yet. Even when that feature becomes available, I will not be able to add more cemeteries to the map until I have their coordinates.
