    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Cunningham, Ray, Duncan, Bolton, Lee, Cleveland to name a few. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/mkB.2ACI/363 Message Board Post: Nancy R(uth) Cunningham Ray Duncan is the older half-sister of my great-grandfather, C. M. 'Neal' Cunningham. There's my connection. Now what I need to know. Between censuses 1870 and 1880 Nancy's left her father's household, last appearing there in 1870, married Archibald 'Archie' Ray 2/23/1871 and by 1880 shows up with her 2nd hubby John G. Dunkin/Duncan (the latter the true spelling; the former as it appears on the 1880) in Bastrop Co. We are sure her and Archie divorced as in 1880 he appears on a cousin's farm in Newton Co. Does Fayette Co. have archived divorce records? and if so, how do I go about seeing if Archie's and Nancy's is available and get a copy of it? I do have a copy of their marriage licence. Also, I need to know if she married Duncan in Fayette Co., though it may be Bastrop Co. since they are there in 1880, but I want to rule out Fayette Co. first. She would have been Nancy Ray when she married John G. Duncan (or however the person writing it all up wrote! it), unless she went back to her maiden name but with two kids I doubt that. Any help will be appreciated. BTW, there were two Cunningham families in Fayette Co. The one of James Cunningham is mine, he is distinct in that he was born in England. The other Cunningham family hails out of Tennessee and aren't mine, though common names for the times show up in both families. James Cunningham 1st married Rebecca Fitzgerald, had 9 kids, she died in Dec. 1860. In Mar. 1863 he marr. widow Lucinda J. Bolton Jones (a neice by marriage to Rebecca's sister Wilmouth Fitzgerald Cleveland) who had one child and yet fathered 10 kids with her. A total of 19 kids between two wives. Geez. Teresa Parrish
