George and Sarah (Walker) handed down to their dau Eusibia the fact that they camped along a river on their way to Texas and had to deal with swarms of locusts (crickets?) there. As you may know, George bought and sold a lot of land in Fayette County, but the most puzzling is the sale of land in the "Sandies." I wonder if she sold land left to her by a relative who also came to Texas. Eusibia married Josiah Shaw, Jr. who died at an early age; then married a man named Creel in Aransas Pass and later lived with their dau in Dallas. Any help you can share with this family will be most appreciated.
