I recently received the death certificate for my ggGrandfather, Silas W. Short. The death certificate shows "Tom Short" as his Father. Phoebe is listed as his mother. Phoebe was a slave in La Grange. I've read a lot of information on Tom Short and am anxious to speak with his descendants.
