I am looking for information on a Joseph Batla that married a "Frances", and had Joseph Batla, Jr., and a daughter named "Louise". I am sorry I have no further information on them than that, as it came from the recollection of an older (70's) cousin of mine. If this information is correct, Joseph Batla would be the half-brother of Anna Batla (born 1863, possibly in Jablunka, Moravia, and died 1 May 1903 in Elk, TX.) She was married to Frank M. Bacak, originally from Trojanovice, Moravia, and they married 28 Oct 1884 in Fayette County. Anna (sometimes known as Annie) is buried in Harper Cemetery in Elk, TX. If you are aware of a connection here, please let me know as I am stumped as to who Anna Batla's parents and other family were past her marriage to Frank Bacak.
