Right now I am working on James W. Fisher.....He is listed on line in Ancestry.com as "William J. Fisher," son of Thomas Dance Fisher, who married Evelyn Dycus. I believe this to be in error. He is listed as James W. Fisher in the 1860 Fayette Co, census living with his sister Isabella Budd after both parents died in 1853. He is named as James W. in court cases where his older brother Rufus and his older sister Isabella are arguing over their father's will. I have also found where a James W. Fisher was a Confederate soldier. Can anyone help clarify this inconsistency? I would like to have much more information on him.
