I found the names in the published listing - "Cemetery Inscriptions of Northern Fannin County, Texas Vol. 1" compiled by Sammy C. Duncan 1994. I have been to the cemetery, but during the summer I prefer my research with air-conditioning. :-) I appear to have family buried there - Sharp, William Arthur Sr. 8 Oct 1887 -- 22 Jan 1959 Sharp, Carrie Effie 13 May 1890 -- 23 Jul 1976 Carrie Effie Burton Sharp is my grandmother's sister. My Burton great-grandparents may be buried there, possibly in an unmarked grave. Is anyone aware of a Fairview Cemetery Association? The cemetery diagram in the book shows a Fairview Church of Christ across the street from the cemetery. Would they have the cemetery records? I have Gid Lee mentioned in family notes and was wondering if anyone has more information on him. I don't know how he fits into my family.
