Robert, Many thanks, but I don't recognize any of these names. The Mitchell (Mertle) that went to Grayson County married a Williamson and she was born in 1881. My best guess is she probably won't show up in Grayson County until around the turn of the century. She and George Mitchell, a half-brother, are the only ones who stayed in Texas, all the others went to Oklahoma. I believe George resided in around Bonham and/or Paris, TX most of his life. Actually all I remember about George's family is that he had a daughter named Kaye. Again thanks for your response, Jim Armstrong Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
