A project to clean up Porter Cemetery is taking place Saturday, November 9. I have been in contact with several subscribers to Fannin-L, some volunteers have come forward. As I understand it some tractors and other pieces of equipment will be at the cemetery, that's great, and will be very helpful. I have one concern though, and that is damage. I am asking if subscribers can and will share their cleanup experiences with us. If you have maybe you could share your "lessons learned" while working on your project. What I mean is, what mistakes were made that may have caused damage to plots, grave markers, or other historical objects?
