    3. I don't think a tractor can get in there. The graves are pretty close together. Some have already been knocked over and I would hate to have any more damage done. A riding lawn mower would be fine but I don't think a tractor with a mower would have room. The other times we cleaned we just used lawn mowers and weed eaters and that is what was used when we paid someone to keep it clean. Deanne > A project to clean up Porter Cemetery is taking place Saturday, November 9. I have been in contact with several subscribers to Fannin- L, some volunteers have come forward. As I understand it some tractors and other pieces of equipment will be at the cemetery, that's great, and will be very helpful. I have one concern though, and that is damage. I am asking if subscribers can and will share their cleanup experiences with us. If you have maybe you could share your "lessons learned" while working on your project. > > What I mean is, what mistakes were made that may have caused damage to plots, grave markers, or other historical objects? And, what productive steps helped the project, what tools were most helpful, etc. Would you share your experience with us? > > Thanks, > David > > > Every day is a good day. > > > ==== TXFANNIN Mailing List ==== > How can just one ancestor cause so much TROUBLE ?? > > > -- Koyote Communications Web Mail http://www.koyote.com
