    3. I too am looking for Hamilton's in Fannin Co. I have a Manerva Elinor Hamilton that was born in 1832 in Giles County Tennessee. She married William Samuel Scott in Jackson Co Alabama. I know nothing about her siblings or parents. We have been stuck on this line for years! I do have a picture of her. In an obituary of one of her sons it mentioned an "Uncle John". Her husband did not have a brother John so we are assuming she had a brother John. If any of this even sounds remotely familiar to anyone, I'd love to hear from you!
