    2. Hi Connie, How are you? This info may be nothing, but I have a group of Kincaid's from Roane and Rhea/Meigs Co. of East TN. I am not related to them, as far as I know, but my CASH's and FORD's served under them during the Civil War. They lived in close proximity to my guys in the area's above. James Madison Kincaid was company commander of Co. B, 5th TN Cavalry(McKenzie's)....a Confederate Unit under Gen'l Wheeler. After the War, many of these families came to Fannin Co. TX. As far as I can tell, my group seems to have gone near Bonham, Fannin Co. TX ca. late 1870's to 1880. Other associated names coming from this area are: Ford, Rogers, Gibson, Deatherage or Edgemon?....buried in Coontown cemetery with the Gibson's and others.
