I see that it has been a year since you posted this, so I hope you get my reply. Unfortunately, I can't help you, but I am hoping you can help me with some information. My mother-in-law, her name is also Joyce Nowell-Davis, was the granddaughter of Richard Hall and Sara Elizabeth Wolf(e). Her father was Joseph Saul Nowell, who was obviously John's brother. Your message is the only thing I have found at this point that links any Nowell's I have read about to her grandfather. She has no information on her father's brothers and sisters.
