Information I found doing research in Fannin and Grayson Counties indicated my great grandfather UJ 'Riley' Cates worked for the Davis Brothers Mills. The time period would have been between 1886 and 1910. In his obit it is mentioned he changed one of the mills from Ox driven to steam powered. Does anyone have information about the mills?
