    3. Roxana: Are you sure the spelling was PRICKETT? My family name is Pritchett and I've seen it spelled every way imaginable including this way. My GGrandfather, Joshua D. Pritchett, was a member of the 9th Texas Infantry during the Civil War and there are several spellings of his last name on the various roll cards including this one. Let me know. They then arrived in Fannin Co., TX (Honey Grove) around 1846. Eli had two brothers, Jacob and Madison. Jacob married Barbara Ramsey. It is believed Madison never married. Eli and Jane had several children, one named Isaac, who I believe was my great-great-grandfather; unknown name of his wife. I think he was killed in the Civil War in Illinois in 1866. Isaac was the father of Melissa Elizabeth Josephine Prickett, who married Thomas Willard in Ft. Worth TX around 1877. I believe Jane had a sister by the name of Martha Veal Ventioner. Melissa had a cousin by the name of Donnie Nance, who married James Ventioner. Any information anyone might have on these families would be appreciated. ==== TXFANNIN Mailing List ==== Your listowner Susan Hawkins & she can be reached at owner-TXFANNIN@lists.rootsweb.com
