Thanks for your reply. I had been unable to find the family on the 1880 census also, this confirms that I didn't overlook them. I have been told that Dr. Franklin Talbott and his wife Caroline G. Dakin lived north of Monkstown. Guess this could have been in Lamar County or over in Indian Territory (OK). Their daughter Martha Belle (Mattie) married Charley Stanley Sides in Bonham on March 17, 1880. Franklin died Dec. 1892. Thanks again.
