TX 1854. Since my Mary Ann Fowler was born 1855 McKinny TX I would lay odds she was named after your Mary Ann Fowler Gage who died just before her birth. That was often done as a sign of love and respect for the departed (my son's middle name is after my brother who died prior to my son's birth). I thought maybe she was related to John C.
