    1. Re: [TXFANNIN-L] Re: Research Fowler
    2. Charlene... How would your Mary Ann Fowler Gage be related to my Mary Ann Fowler? The only real information I have on the Fowlers is that Mary Ann was born in GA in 1834. Her parents were Miles Wilburn Fowler and Amanda Arnold. I am not certain....but I believe it is possible that the Fowlers came to Mississippi from Horry County, SC in the mid 1850's. I believe Miles was born 7 April 1806 and died 2 January 1893. MAF married my ggg-grandfather, David Reasons Looney, Squire in Pontotoc County, MS on 16 September 1858. All this is very strange....my MAF was just getting married 1858 when your MAF died in 1854 in Fannin County, TX. According to my map, McKinney, TX is just southwest of Honey Grove, Fannin County, TX which is where they are all buried. There is a collection of Ayers/Looney/Fowler all buried in New Salem Cemetery just outside Honey Grove. I don't know if there were any other Fowler siblings or not. I have spoken (online) with another of our Fowler "cuzins" and will be happy to give you their names (emails) if you are interested. I would also be delighted to continue to work through this if you still think there is a possible connection although I have never in my research run into the name GAGE. Look forward to hearing from you. Happy Huntin' Ginny Ayers Spann <>< VASPANN@aol.com RESEARCHING: Ayers, Bennett, Byrom, Fowler, Green, Gross, Hammontree, Kyle, Ladd, Looney, Seabolt & Stone
