You can find Death Indexes from CA, KY, TX, and ME at http://searches.rootsweb.com. These apparently the information which was at the official state sites until they were closed for security reasons. The searches are free. Jerri Eoff sudderth
Are you sure these still work? I just tried TS death and got unavailable. If it's not working, Rootsweb should remove the link. I used to make a lot of use of these sites. As far as my experience in the last few months, my old links have not been functional. I'm really glad I printed out some of my surnames, We have a few of the old ASCII files downloaded from the state, but they are difficult to work with. I think the ones we pulled were back in the 60's or 70's, Judy Busch ----- Original Message ----- From: <JRSudderth@aol.com> To: <TXFANNIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, September 04, 2002 8:19 AM Subject: Re: [TXFANNIN-L] Texas Indexes from Texas Dept of Health > You can find Death Indexes from CA, KY, TX, and ME at > http://searches.rootsweb.com. > > These apparently the information which was at the official state sites until > they were closed for security reasons.
