Looking for records as to when my great grandfather came to TX and when he left TX. C. J. BRANN was on the 1870 KY Census and on the 1880 TX Census. There was some kind of a land purchase/sale between C. J. and his sister, Harriet DOBSON, in 1884. He was not in TX then. Would like to narrow down the time. Thanks for any suggestions you may have.
