My great grandmother Denner Eva Estes (Lang)was born in Bonham, 31 Dec 1881. Her mother, Melissa Shackelford Estes and two children, Florence and William just disappeared and her husband Leonard C. Estes remarried Ermond (Emma) McDougal Stone Estes (Kilpatrick) in 1887. I have always felt that an epidemic of some kind must have killed them. Susan lastest e-mail mentions a measles epidemic in the 1880's to 1900's. If anyone knows where I can find any information on this epidemic in the Bonham area (or if you recognize any of these names) please let me know. Thanks Susan, Diane Miller
