This project will search for matching "cousins" by comparing the y-chromosome of men with the surname of Bingham (all spellings). The dna test uses a simple swab from the inside of the cheek which is painless. The kit can be ordered for $99 plus $2 for shipping. The dna will then be matched to other samples submitted which will establish family ties. If your paper trail has run you into a brick wall, this project can help. You can read more about the lab and the test by going to www.familytreedna.com or emailing me at pegsgirl@juno.com. My gggrandfather, James Bingham, had several brothers who came to Fannin Co around 1850. Linda Bingham Gardner
