    3. There is a book in the Sam Rayburn Library that has a list of all known cemeteries in Fannin County. You might try there. -----Original Message----- From: MARJORIE SOUTHARD [mailto:marge623164@msn.com] Sent: Wednesday, January 01, 2003 4:21 PM To: TXFANNIN-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [TXFANNIN-L] Hello List, I am trying to find information on Charlie Allen born 1863 Arkansas he married a M. E. (Bettie) and is listed in the 1900 census with M. E. and stepchildren Douglas, Lucy and Edmund Adams. In 1910 he is listed as married to Bettie (assume this is for Elizabeth of the E. in 1900) Stepdaughter Lucy is listed as an Allen she is the only child left in household. Also in household brother Augustus Allen and boarder Beulah Bettes. I have been unable to find them in 1920 even with the index on ancestry. In 1930 Charlie is living in the Henry G. Duckworth household with Lucille (Lucy) as wife and Charlie as step-father-in-law. I am very interested in learning more about these families. Charlie is the son of Thaddeous N. Allen and his first wife Judith Anderson. Charlie is half-brother of Alice Melinda Allen Glaze my husband's maternal grandmother. There is also according to cemetery records Fannin County site a T. N. Allen buried in Bettes Cemetery. I believe this could be my Thaddeous. Thaddeous was born May 1833 according to the 1900 census. This T. N. Allen in cemetery has May 24, 1833 as birth-date and death-date of December 21, 1912. Does anyone have access to cemetery information or can you tell me where I might possibly find cemetery or funeral home records for that time frame. Does the county have death records for that time? Thank you in advance for any assistance anyone can give me. Marjorie Peterson Southard Buckeye, AZ ==== TXFANNIN Mailing List ==== He who dies with the most ancestors wins!
