I didn't find anything for the 1900 census in Fannin Co. for a Stevens/Stephens; but I did find several Clyde Stevens in the 1930 Fannin Co., TX. . So here is what I found. 1930 Fannin Co., TX. Precinct 3, roll T626-2331, page 9B, ED 16, household: 175/176 Stevens, Clyde N. 24 white b. TX, father b. OK, mother b. TX Clara N. Wife 24 (living next door to John D. Stevens. ..................................... 1930 Fannin Co. TX. precinct 7, roll T626_2331, page 3B, ED 33 Stevens, Clyde S. white, 39, b. TX, father b. AL, mother b. I also found: Stephens, William J. age 36, black, precinct 4, roll T626_2331. page 6A, ED 23. I assume that you are looking for a white man, since you didn't specify. Thanks so much for looking and the Clyde Stevens with a wife named Vada is my grandparents and I have them in 1910 and 1920 and 1930 but they must not be here in 1900. They all came from Alabama so I'll have to check there but thanks for doing the extra leg work.
